Lisbon, November 22, 2021, at 9 pm sharp, marked the start of the CNN Portugal broadcast. More than 400 guests watched live, at a gala dinner, the first seconds of CNN Portugal, in a ceremony presented by Ana Guedes Rodrigues and João Póvoa Marinheiro. With interventions by Rani Raad (Board CNNinternational) and the President of Media Capital Mário Ferreira, the evening also featured the prestigious journalist Richard Quest and had the distinguished honor of the presence and speech of the President of the Republic Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
